A patchwork portrait of a small fishing village where man with man, man with animal, and animal with animal interdepend in a delicate balance of warm, tender care and cold, emotional cruelty. Tomasz Popakul
Graduate of animation film at the Łódź Film School. His debut Ziegenort was screened and awarded at festivals around the world, and his later film Acid Rain brought him thirty-five awards, a nomination for the prestigious Annie Awards and a place on the Oscar longlist.
