Mila struggles as she remains unpaid at work and finds comfort in a love interest through his constant phone calls. But a promise of hope may also lead to tragedy and sad love songs.

She worked as Art Director on award-winning films such as Carlo Francisco Manatad’s Whether The Weather Is Fine (Locarno Junior Jury Award 2021) and Giancarlo Abrahan’s Please • Care (2017) and Sila-Sila (2019), among others. Her short film, If People Such As We Cease To Exist (2016), was selected in Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Competition as well as Kurzfilmtage Winterthur (Special Programmes) and SeaShorts competition. She is an alumna of SEAFIC Seed Lab 2022 and Asian Film Academy 2019. Her first feature project in development, The Void Is Immense On Idle Hours, was selected for the Pustnik Screenwriting Residency 2022.
