CINEMAFORUM and AMERICAN FILM FESTIVAL join forces again. For the fourth time, we are organizing a joint American Shorts section, which will be presented in November at both festivals. On March 28, 2023, the call for applications was launched.
American Shorts is an extremely popular part of festivals in Warsaw and Wrocław. For four years the participants of the CINEMAFORUM and the American Film Festival have been coming in droves to watch the inaccessible to the general public short films from US, which perfectly combine social insight with an attractive form.
AMERICAN SHORTS – HOW TO SUBMIT A MOVIE?
To submit your film to the American Shorts section, please read the regulations and between March 28 – August 1, 2023, carefully complete and send the application to the organizers using the form below:
The call is open for:
- feature films (including animation);
- films produced in the United States of America;
- films which do not exceed 40 minutes.
Information about the selection results will be provided to creators by August 9, 2023. Selected movies will be presented as part of the American Shorts section during the American Film Festival in Wrocław (November 7-12, 2023) and the CINEMAFORUM in Warsaw (November 20-26, 2023).
