She directed theater for a decade before pivoting to film. Her first short film, “Up North”, premiered on Short of the Week in 2017. Her second short film, “Sometimes, I Think About Dying”, premiered at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival and is currently traveling the world on the Sundance Shorts Tour. She is an alum of the 2019 New Voices Sundance Lab. And her essay, “He’s Your Destiny. Just Be Patient.”, was published as part of The New York Times Modern Love column in June 2019.
