Rafaela Camelo is a film director and screenwriter born in Brazil in 1985. She has a bachelor ́s degree as a filmmaker at University of Brasilia and a graduate degree in scriptwriting from Armando Alvares Penteado Foundation. Her short “Desires of the Flesh” was premiered at Sundance Film Festival 2019 and awarded as best short at Festival de Biarritz Amérique Latine and Fest New Directors/New Films the same year.
