Clément Tréhin-Lalanne was born in 1983in the suburbs of Paris. During his higher education in film studies he directed a short film “L’Attente” as well as learning the skills of being a unit manager and assistant director as part of the production company FullDawa. Having graduated he became a unit manager on a number of full-length films. On the side, he produced “Lucien”, a short film which was selected to be shown at a number of film festivals. The idea for “Aissa” came to him in 2010 after having read the article Rue99 concerning the medical testing given to young adults to gauge their actual age.
