Animation director, illustrator, and cartoonist, his books and comics have been published in countries like Spain, France, Italy, Brazil and Korea. He has written and directed short animations as “Birdboy”, “Unicorn blood” and “Decorado”. His works have been exhibited in prestigious festivals worldwide as Cannes, Toronto, Annecy, Clermont-Ferrand, Animafest Zagreb or Slamdance and he has won over 100 awards in international events including the Goya Best Animated Short Film in 2012. He just finished his first featured film “Psiconautas”, based on the graphic novel of the same name by the own Vázquez.
