MOON LAKE

Set in the mid-2000s suburban Michigan, Tess, a reserved and strange middle schooler, stains the floor at a sleepover as she navigates a new social circle.


Jeannie Sui Wonders

Jeannie is a filmmaker based in New York City. She got her start in film working for Roger Corman and Sofia Coppola. She was selected as an Oxbelly Lab directing fellow for her upcoming feature. She directs fashion films and programs film series at the Museum of Art and Design. She studied fiction and documentary filmmaking at Harvard under the mentorship of Athina Tsangari. Moon Lake (2024) is her debut fiction short film which world premiered in competition at the 81st Venice Film Festival.
