MORNING HAS BROKEN / DIR. Olga Chajdas

15’ / Wild Mouse Production / Poland 2017

One evening, the main character, a woman, turns off during the dinner. She turns off, just like a certain fuse in her body would blew, but no one has noticed that. After the dinner she calmly drowns her daughter, then she kills her husband with a knife. The next day, she wakes up and discovers that she cannot find her cat. “Morning has broken” is a film about alienation, solitude, and forgetting yourself.
